Palm Tree Beach Craft for Kids!


Palm trees swaying in the breeze on a beautiful sandy beach....sounds like the perfect summer vacation. AND the perfect summer craft for kids!
This is also a great preschool craft for an ocean or beach theme. Whenever you choose to make it, you're sure to feel some tropical breezes with this fun and easy craft! And if you're looking for more tropical themed fun, check out our Mango Tree Math activity. And our Pineapple Craft!



Supplies:
  • Construction Paper in light blue, dark blue, green, light brown, dark brown and yellow
  • Sandpaper (optional) OR another shade of light brown paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue

How to Make it:
  1. Cut out the following shapes:
    • green paper - 5 pointed leaf shapes
    • yellow paper - a quarter circle
    • light brown paper - a curved tree trunk
    • dark brown paper - 3 circles for the coconuts
    • blue paper - an ocean wave
    • Sand paper - a curved shape for the sandy beach
  2. Glue the water on first, then the sand.
  3. Glue the tree trunk slightly behind the sand piece. Then glue the green leaves to the top.
  4. Add the coconuts and the sand.


All done!
