Valentine Flower Craft for Kids

Here is a cute and very simple craft you can make with your kids this Valentine's Day! They can make a bunch to give as homemade valentines to friends, teachers, grandparents. Or just make them as a fun valentine craft to hang up in your home! A craft flower made out of hearts is sure to spread some love in the air!


Supplies:

How to Make it!
  1. Fold up pieces of red construction paper, and cut out TALL heart shapes!
  2. Fold up the bottom tip of each of the hearts.
  3. Cut out a small circle and start gluing the folded heart tips onto the outer edge of the circle.
  4. Then glue more hearts on the inside of the circle to create more layers.
  5. Cut out a small pink heart to put in the center of the flower.
  6. Cut out 2 bigger hearts from the green paper, glue them to the bottom of the circle to be the leaves of the flower.

Valentine Heart Tree Craft for Kids!

Here is a SUPER easy and really fun Valentines Day craft for kids. With minimal supplies and a lot of love, you can create this Valentine Heart Tree with your little ones. Celebrate Valentine's Day with this easy craft! And check out our other recent Valentine's Day crafts for kids: Like this cute pop-up flower made out of hearts! And this cute Valentine Pal, that can be filled with fun Valentine's Day notes or goodies!


Supplies:

How to Make it:
  1. Cut out a green rectangle and glue it onto the blue construction paper. This is the sky and the grass.
  2. Fold a piece of red paper in half and cut out a heart shape.
  3. Cut out a small brown piece for the trunk of the tree.
  4. Glue the trunk and big heart onto the grass and sky.
  5. Rip and scrunch up a bunch of small pieces of red paper. Kids love to rip and scrunch, so let them at it! :)
  6. Put blobs of blue on the big heart and put the scrunched up papers on.




Once it's dry, you can hang this up as a cute decoration for Valentine's Day!

Homemade Valentines Day Craft for Kids!

Valentine's Day is coming quickly! So here is a super easy craft for kids to celebrate all the love in the air. This puffy Valentine Pal can also be used to fill with love notes, goodies, or anything else you want to give your valentine! A great homemade Valentine for kids.

Supplies:

How to Make it!
  1. Fold 2 pieces of construction paper in half and cut out half a heart shape.
  2. Cut out 4 small rectangles for the arms and legs.
  3. Cut out 4 small circles for the hands and feet, and glue them to the rectangles.
  4. Place the arms and legs between the 2 hearts and staple them in place. Continue the staples on the bottom half of the hearts.
  5. Glue the googly eyes on and draw a smile with the marker.
  6. Rip and scrunch up small pieces of the white paper.
  7. Stuff them into the top of the hearts, then finish stapling the top of the hearts closed.


OR you can substitute the scrunched up paper for little love notes, or goodies for your special valentine. Like these cute scratch and sniff valentines! Or these delicious Oreo candy bars!
 So many possibilities to fill your Valentine Pal with LOVE!

Heart Collage Valentine's Day Craft



We gave Valentine's Day one final Hoorah with this super easy craft!
All 3 kiddos participated in this one, using some paper LB(4) had painted on earlier in the week.
Check it out!

Supplies:

Craft Time!
  1. Squirt out a blob of red paint on a paper plate and give your child a paint brush and some white paper. Let them paint a couple pieces of paper however they want! LB wanted to paint the entire papers completely red. :)
  2. Let it dry. (overnight is good). 
  3. Cut the painted papers into squares. Again, we had zig-zag scissors that gave the edges a cool look, but regular scissors work great too!



4. With the white cardstock, cut out a big heart for each child.
5. Give them glue and all the painted squares and let them decorate their heart however they desire!
ALL DONE!
