Spaghetti & Meatball Craft

We made this delicious-looking Spaghetti & Meatball craft to go along with the book "On Top of Spaghetti," by Paul Brett Johnson. You could also use it to go along with the famous song that this book is about!

Supplies:

  • White yarn
  • Brown yarn
  • Carsdstock or paper plate
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Here's what you do:
  1. Cut long pieces of the white yarn for the spaghetti and glue them onto a paper plate or circle cut out of white cardstock
  2. Make a giant pom-pom from the brown yarn: (wrap the yarn around your child's hand. pull it off and tie it around the middle. Cut the loops. Like THIS.
  3. Glue the meatball on top of the spaghetti, and don't let anybody sneeze. :)
