Dec. 2 - Lacing Stocking

The 2nd day of Christmas brought a craft involving some fine motor skills.

I just cut a stocking shape out of 2 pieces of construction paper, and then punched holes around the outside. I hooked some yarn around a small piece of a pipe cleaner, which acted as a "needle." Then demonstrated to LM how to put the "needle" through the hole and pull it out the other side. It took a few tries, but he sort of got the hang of it.

We then glued on a few cotton balls to add some fluff.

Then we hung up the stocking and are waiting for Santa to fill it up!
