Scripture: Matthew 7:24-27
Activity: Wise Man and the Foolish Man
Supplies: paper, tape, medium sized rock, sand or dirt, cake pan, pitcher of water
Place the rock on one end of the cake pan, and the sand or dirt on the other. construct 2 simple houses out of paper & tape. Place one house on the rock, and one on the sand. Pour the water into the cake pan. Observe how the house on the sand got washed away, and the house on the rock stood solid. Talk about how the parable of the wise and foolish man was a way that the Savior taught about obedience. We will be strong as we choose to follow God's commandments.

Treat: Sweet Tortilla Shapes (from momscape.com)
Sweet Tortilla Shapes -
Use cookie cutters to cut shapes out of tortillas. Place on cookie sheet and lightly brush with butter. Sprinkle a little cinnamon and sugar. Bake in hot oven for 10 minutes for a sweet & crispy treat.
