Footprint Penguin Craft

For our "Penguin" theme in our Preschool at Home last week,
LB (3) made this cute little Footprint Penguin craft!

Here's what you do:
  • Place a black piece of construction paper on the floor.
  • Have your child come put their foot on it, and trace their foot.
  • Cut out the foot shape and then have your child glue on:
    • A white oval for the belly
    • An orange triangle for the nose
    • 2 googly eyes

You always have such wonderful projects! I love reading your blog. I wanted to invite you to come link up at a party on my blog. It is a link party for OLD projects--so that we can hopefully get more traffic to our blogs using projects we've already posted. Come over and remind us of some of your favorite projects!
The link-up is live now.

Crafts & Activities for BOYS!

It can sometimes be tricky to find crafts and learning activities that will capture a little boy's attention span. Believe me, I know! I have 3 little boys and so many of our crafts and activities are along themes of things that little boys often love! Cars, Trucks, Planes, Bugs, Dinosaurs, Legos, Sports, Animals, Space, etc. So here is our collection of tried and true crafts and activities for boys!
(P.S. And don't worry, I also have 2 little girls, and can verify that each of these are also 100% girl approved too!)

And if you are wondering where to get SUPPLIES for these crafts and activities, check out this post!

Build a Dinosaur!

Our recent theme for Preschool@Home was DINOSAURS! This is a great (and super easy) activity for helping kids learn and recognize shapes. Using craft foam means it can be used over and over again! And the possibilities are endless.
Or use some glue on the shapes and it could also become a one-of-a-kind dinosaur craft! No matter how you use it, this simple dinosaur activity will most likely produce some very unique prehistoric creatures!
