S'mores Bars

When I saw this recipe over on A Mommy's Adventures I just couldn't wait to try it! Not only is it a good recipe for little hands to make, it is also delicious!

You can find the full sized recipe by clicking the link above. But since I knew these would be left for me to devour while my husband was at school all day, I thought it best to half the recipe.

So here's the smaller version:

Combine 1/2 stick butter & 2 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs.
Press 1/2 into square dish
Bake 350 degrees, 5 mins.
layer 1 c. chocolate chips
layer 1 1/2 c. marshmallows
layer rest of graham cracker crumbs
Bake 350 degrees for 15 mins.

LM had fun crushing up the crackers. He even had his race car run over them a few times for good measure.

Yum.
Yum.
Yummy, Yum, Yum!

I don't think I used enough butter because the crumbs didn't quite stick together very well. We decided to just scoop it out, put it in a cup with a tiny bit of milk on top and eat it with a spoon. Mmmmm....It was delicious. But really, with all that s'morey goodness it was destined to be yummy!

What great pictures!! I am so glad that you enjoyed these thank you for linking to me. I have been craving these for the past week, I think this is a sign that I must make them :0) Halving the recipe sounds like a great idea, I did eat most of the full batch by myself!!
